Erica Garcia -Cello

Many young cellists take lessons in school and some even study privately.  It is often difficult for them to learn cello technique and try to put together a solo for NYSSMA even with the resources they have.  I decided to create this website so that students could have an additional resource.  NYSSMA solos should be chosen by the teacher and the student.  I have selected some of the most commonly chosen pieces, recorded them and provided some notes that will hopefully help students learn their music.  They can listen to a more advanced student play each piece, play along with the recording and read the tips.

I've also included some videos of me performing as a soloist with piano accompaniment and with an orchestra.

I hope you find this website informative, helpful and interesting.  I welcome your feedback.

Thank you very much for visiting my page and good luck to you.
